Choosing a plaster finish for a pool can be a tough decision if you don’t know where to begin. There are a variety of color choices and finishing/aggregate options that add for even more detail to your custom pool. These options will add cost of course, and the aggregate plasters have a large price range depending on individual products.

The color of the plaster changes the color of the water through light refraction. Depending on the plater color, it can make the water blue blue, blue/green, sky blue etc. The aggregate plaster adds texture to the plaster and can help hide staining that may occur over time. However, we will mention that also aggregate plaster is more prone to algae due to the porous crevices in the plaster surface.
